gnome-keyring database decription error make Compass exits without errors

      The issues is triggered when automatic database unlocking for gnome-keyring is disabled. In such scenario when Compass startup a password input popup window is displayed to unlock gnome-keyring database. If you just press cancel on the popup window Compass simply exits without any error.
