Just had an issue where I was using a gem (freshbooks.rb) that defines a get method on classes it owns. This method was being stepped on, and trace it to mongoid, which defines a get method on object which wipes out anyone else definition of get. This seems like a very bad idea. Can the mongoid code be more narrowly scoped?
