Context

mongotune has the capability to dynamically tune WiredTiger eviction worker thread counts at runtime. When application-thread eviction exceeds eviction worker thread eviction, the system is under pressure and operation latency increases.

Goal

Enable and configure mongotune's dynamic eviction worker tuning so that it scales eviction workers up in response to rising eviction pressure, reducing the cases where application threads are recruited into eviction.

Success Criteria

Application-thread eviction rate falls below eviction worker thread eviction rate under the workloads where the inverse is currently observed.
