      BTW when trying the same test on 'develop' branch I got:
      $ ./recovery-test
      0 record(s) absent from 486
      $ ./recovery-test
      0 record(s) absent from 453
      Number of messages written is really small in comparison with 261966 in 'master' (WT 2.6.1)
      Is that expected?
