This is a follow on from WT-3082 where we reduced the runtime of the Python test suite, and induced a reduction in our coverage numbers of 1%.

We should review which tests lost that coverage, and whether it's possible to fine-tune the scenarios in those test cases so that they retain coverage while still testing the same number of code paths.
