      Summary

      Compilation with a Macbook pro M1 chip did not succeed, both CMake and Autoconf.

      CMake/configs/arm64/darwin/config.cmake is missing

      Does this affect any team outside of WT?

      It potentially impacts anyone who has a MacBook with an M1 chip.

      How likely is it that this use case or problem will occur?

      Every compilation.

      If the problem does occur, what are the consequences and how severe are they?

      WiredTiger cannot be compiled, hence used.

      Is this issue urgent?

      No real deadline, but the sooner the better.

      Compilation works on a MacBook M1 for CMake.
