Similar to WT-9597, adding new stats requires the user to manually run s_stat (either standalone or as part of s_all). It can be confusing when this doesn't work, and can cause really strange problems when people try to manually edit wiredtiger.in to add their stats. It'd be a good improvement for ninja to know when to re-run this. Running it for every build might be an option, but it's not optimal.
