 Description   

Current driver does not support for Unix domain sockets. It will
boost performance for applications which run locally on the same
server on which MongoDB runs

This won't be useful with replica sets, as you'll be connecting remotely to a number of nodes (via TCP).

How does this affect replica set BTW?
