Typically, Linux distributions want to maintain their own packaging scripts, and highly discourage downstream packaging (notably Debian). However, now that the new C driver uses automake, we are largely there on making this dead simple for them. Fedora has already mentioned interest in libbson and the new C driver. – Christian |
