Real users on all platforms will nearly always have SSL, but a large number of our build variants disable SSL at compile time. Even when they have SSL compiled in, I believe a number of the integration tests also start MongoDB without SSL or auth. Let's cut down the size of the matrix by focusing on realistic setups: SSL is compiled in, and MongoDB is started with SSL and auth. |

I agree. IMO Testing with nossl and noauth provides little value. I expect the vast majority of users are using TLS and auth. TLS and auth are required in MongoDB Atlas. This opinion considered in |
