When upgrading MongoDB to use SSL the driver will be talking to a mixed set of servers, some with and some without SSL. To keep the driver happy, it should be configured to "prefer" an SSL connection (similar to the sslMode preferSSL), but if it fails its OK to reconnect without SSL. |
