 Description

On GitHub, version 1.1.0 is described as a stable version:

https://github.com/mongodb/mongo-c-driver/releases

It is my pleasure to announce to you the 1.1.0 release of the MongoDB C driver.

This release is a stable release with additive ABI changes and bugfixes.

This contradicts what the configure script says when I run it:

 *** IMPORTANT ***

This is an unstable version of libmongoc.
It is for test purposes only.

Please, DO NOT use it in a production environment.
It will probably crash and you will lose your data.

Additionally, the API/ABI may change during the course
 of development.

 Thanks,

   The libmongoc team.

 *** END OF WARNING ***

We've decided to follow normal semver, the next release after 1.1.4 will be 1.1.5. We will no longer use evenness or oddness of either the patch version or minor version; instead, during development we'll append "-dev" to the version number:
