| Description |

When Compass is unable to connect to a cluster, an error is shown with a recommendation - that's good! However, it's impossible to follow the recommendation as it continues to retry connecting non-stop. One cannot escape it or cancel it to change connection properties and must resort to shutting down Compass all together before changing those settings and reconnecting successfully. |

Transitioning this back to 'Open' as it has been in 'Debugging with Submitter' for over a year. |

The spinner icon in your screenshot is to refresh the databases list as opposed to refresh the connection... can you try going to the Connect Menu and trying new connection (or press cmd+N) and see what happens? It should open a new window (perhaps we want to make a nicer experience by letting them navigate "back" to the connect screen). |
