Currently you can Copy Document but you cannot Paste a new document. It would be useful if there was the ability to create a document from the clipboard after copying it. It would also be great if we allowed users to create/edit documents as JSON in addition to the current editor which is great but very constrained. |

Hi. Can I ask why this ticket and all duplicates are closed? I see Compass still does not support pasting a JSON document from the clipboard into the selected collection. It's quite inconvenient to insert documents by adding each field separately. Preparing a file for import sometimes is not the fasted option. Is this feature in plans? |
