After installing MongoDB, it's impossible to start the connection. The error message is "MongoDB not running on the provided host and port" |

We can't reproduce the problem and there was no activity in the ticket for a few months. I recommend to try 1.18 and see if the problem still happens. |

Is this still an issue? Can you guys try with 1.17 or 1.18-beta? Also, can you provide some more info to debug the problem? Where is the MongoDB server running? What hostname are you using? Can you connect with the shell? Can you post a screenshot of the Compass connect screen and either the Robomongo connection screen or the CLI parameters you use to connect via the shell? |

i am also getting the same issue. i am not able to connect although others able to. i am getting "MongoDB not running on the provided host and port". any pointer will be appreciated. |

So I was finally able to connect with IP address instead of hostname but still I look at this as an issue because another Mongo client Robo3T is just connecting fine with hostname. |

I am having the same issue ... my fellow colleagues are able to connect to mongo server in the same network but I cannot. I guess the error message is not correct. Is there any error logs, I can look into? |
