| Documentation Changes Summary: | Maybe in the documentation for the Agg. pipeline builder (https://docs.mongodb.com/compass/master/aggregation-pipeline-builder/) it is worth mentioning as a tip that it is possible to use $out to output the result of an agg. pipeline into a new collection that can then be explored with Compass. |
| Description |
|
Users would want to be able to view the results of aggregations in the same way they can view the results from find in the Documents tab. There could be a button to show results in the Documents tab or there could be a new tab within the Aggregation tab. durran.jordan did point out at least you can add an $out stage to view it in the Documents tab |

The agg. pipeline builder in Compass is more about composing and debugging aggregation pipelines than about running aggregation pipelines. If the user is interested in browsing all the results of an aggregation then $out is probably a viable solution. |
