 Description

Hi there,

I've downloaded Compass 1.17.0-beta.5 (Beta) but cannot get it to authenticate against a shared or dedicated Atlas cluster. The error always returned is:

authentication fail

Using the same connection details with 1.17.0-beta.4 (Beta) and 1.16.3 (Stable) allows me to connect fine.

I've tried both SRV records and non-SRV records and neither work.

Looking in my dedicated cluster's mongod logs, I do not see any indication of an authentication failure, so suspect the error being returned isn't the actual issue.

FWIW, the shared cluster is running MongoDB 4.0.5, and the dedicated cluster is running 3.6.9.

Please let me know if I can provide any further info.
