 Description

The title is probably not very good, but here is the deal.

On OSX whenever the Import or Export dialogue is used, Compass allows the focus to be switched onto the main window. That is already a problem on its own - generally OSX applications do not allow focus to be switched during a file selection.

Once the focus is switched onto the main window, clicking on the UI elements does not yield any response, however the clicks apparently get buffered. So, after the Cancel button is pressed on the file selection window, the buffered click will take effect.

Please refer to the video in the attachments for an example.

This is a problem because it can create confusion if the user accidentally switches focus onto the main window not realizing that the UI interactions are blocked by the file selection window that is now out of focus and needs to be found again.

We triaged this and it's likely a bug with Electron. I will close this and see if it comes up again with future versions of electron.
