 Description

Recently we are seeing reports of connection favorites missing after a user restarts Compass or reboots the Windows desktop. This has been seen on both current (1.18.0) and one earlier release of Compass.

I had the same issue, which didn't seem to resolve itself directly. However updating compass from 1.18.0 to 1.19.4 does appear to have fixed the issue as well - not 100% certain if that's due to the update, or the fact that I had to (manually) kill 3 different MongoDB GUI processes that were still running (needed before the installation of the new version would progress).

Update 23-Aug: Issue can still occur in 1.19.4, but killing the still running processes definitely resolves it.

Hi, same here.

I checked back in my installation, and indeed it's fixed as well today. (Running windows in version 1709)

So it's not stopping me from using your software any longer  Thanks Guys

[Solved]

OS :  Microsoft Windows 10

Version : Version 10.0.18362 Build 18362

MongoDb Compass Version : v 1.18.0

-----------------------------------------

This was reported to Brian Blevins by me, but it sounds like there are other similar reports too.

The issue was fixed the next day, but I am not sure what caused this problem nor how I actually fixed it.

The first time I reinstalled the application and restarted my system, the issue persisted. The second time I did the same thing, it solved itself and saved my favorites.
