I think this is a case of "works as designed". If I understand correctly, the user is expecting that Compass automatically detects the connection string copied from Atlas and fills it into the connect screen. Then they click connect and find themselves connected to localhost. In Compass 1.20, we chose not to do the automatic clipboard detection. Users should paste the connection string into the form instead. |
