Paste connection string to Compass mongodb://uuuuu:xxx@mongo1.cc.org:27117,mongo2.cc.org:27117,mongo3.cc.org:27117/?authSource=admin&replicaSet=rs0&readPreference=primary&appname=MongoDB Compass&ssl=false Click "Fill in connection fields individually" Click "Paste Connection String" The connection string added "/test". I expected no change in the string. mongodb://uuuuu:xxx@mongo1.cc.org:27117,mongo2.cc.org:27117,mongo3.cc.org:27117/test?authSource=admin&replicaSet=rs0&readPreference=primary&appname=MongoDB%20Compass&ssl=false
The same addition of "/test" can be seen if the connection moves to another connection and back. |

Compass doesn't care about the DB name in the URI so having it or not having does not make any difference. |
