| Description |

When I create a new connection via Compass and I enter connection information that does not resolve to a valid deployment, the UI appears to be whitened out and then freeze for what looks to be the server selection timeout (30 seconds). If I recognize that I made a mistake in the input, there does not appear to be a way for me to abort the connection process and go back to the form to adjust the fields. It is possible to use the Connect -> Connect to menu to create another connection but this means I have to fill out all of the fields from scratch. As a user of Compass, I expect to be able to abort the connection operation and go back to editing connection parameters immediately. |

This was fixed in https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/COMPASS-4393 and is available in 1.26.0 - Thanks for bringing it up Oleg! |
