After 3 hours trying to debug why my timezone aware datetime was not being registered correctly, I discovered that the problem is in the GUI. The shell displays it perfectly.
Tks for looking into this. The new version with embedded shell is great. |

The Compass UI always displays UTC times. I know this is a limitation we have but it's not a bug. We have a feature request related to that that we might consider in the future: https://feedback.mongodb.com/forums/924283-compass/suggestions/39739636-allow-dates-to-be-viewed-in-local-time-instead-of |
