| Description |
|
When switching between the connection form and the connection string input in Compass, a user does not have a visual indicator that fields in the form are being applied when editing the connection string. For instance, SSH tunnel options are hidden from the user. This can lead to confusion. Instead we can either fully revisit how these two components are related and visually situated, or we can add an indicator/message on the connection string page when fields are being applied which are not apparent from the connection string. |

Closing this for now, going to revisit how to improve connection configuration transparency later. |
