 Description

Problem Statement/Rationale

I am trying to use count in atlas search query as described in documentation. But in $project stage when i use $$SEARCH_META variable it throws me an error  "Must enable 'enableSearchMeta' server parameter to use $searchMeta or $$SEARCH_META variable". I can't found any documentation explaining this issue.

aking@socialnewsdesk.com there is a server parameter needed to use the facet and count operator. The supported server versions are 4.4.11 or later, and 5.0.4 or later.

Hey tech@shopmebook.com, could you please answer the following questions so we have more information about your issue:

  • what version of MongoDB are you running in Atlas?
  • have you created a search index in Atlas?
