 Description   

Problem Statement/Rationale

After connecting, the GUI displays no information, a blank white screen and at the side menu says "0 dbs, 0 collections" or something along those lines.

However, I can interact with information on the database via a C# application I created. And I know for a fact there are a few hundred thousand documents there.

Steps to Reproduce

This happens on every computer I tried, but only on this particular database.

Expected Results

Expect to see my database in GUI form.

Actual Results

Blank white screen.

Also could you please connect with the same connection string using mongosh and run the following commands:

 

 

db.adminCommand('listDatabases')
db.runCommand('listCollections')

Would be interesting to see if the db/collection is listed there and if not what error you're getting.

Is it possible to upload your compass log file to this issue? Here's some help on how to retrieve it.

Can you provide more information on the database? A screenshot of the sidebar should contain much of the info.
