Problem Statement/RationaleWhat is going wrong? What action would you like the Engineering team to take? Please be sure to attach relevant logs with any sensitive data redacted. Steps to ReproduceHow could an engineer replicate the issue you’re reporting? Run Compass 1.37.0 with auto-upgrade disabled. Application is named "MongoDB Compass 1.37.0.app" so I can run multiple Compass versions. "Check for Updates..." Click yes to upgrade and to restart There is no new Compass application in Mac's "Application" directory Running the Compass app used to keep the old rename but run the new version as seen in "About". Expected ResultsWhat do you expect to happen? Compass to show 1.38 in About MongoDB Compass. I was going to rename the application name to 1.38 rom 1.37 after the upgrade. Actual ResultsWhat do you observe is happening? There is no new Compass application in Mac's "Application" directory Additional NotesAny additional information that may be useful to include.
Manually downloading the install binary from the Download Center worked. |
