Problem Statement/RationaleI want to see how many entries have been added during last three days. I tried to follow https://www.mongodb.com/community/forums/t/how-we-can-use-count-clause-in-mongodb-compass/9651/2 Expected result: number of entries in filter result.

Hey roman.puzikov@riverty.com, document count has a cap of 5 seconds that can't be overriden even when setting maxTimeMS manually. Compass is erring on the side of being safe here and not overloading clusters with operations that are potentially too heavy on the clusters (count being one of those). If you need to get a count of a collection, you can use mongosh terminal that is integrated in Compass, as also suggested in the comment you are linking to |
