Problem Statement/Rationale

When launching Compass, pops up a message :"A new version of Compass is available to install", but when i click install,  it simply closes the messsage box an does nothing.

jacasarin@funcionpublica.gob.mx One more thing: There's very little info in that log file. Could you start compass, then accept the update, wait something like 20 minutes and then take the logs? Just to make sure it definitely had enough time to try and apply the update. That should be very helpful.

jacasarin@funcionpublica.gob.mx Can you just quickly confirm that the log file was from a session in which you clicked on that “Install” button (and that that log file was generated after you clicked it)?
