hi, i think: also request the UUID support, maybe you can have a look on how the guys of robomongo did it, i think they have a really nice solution for the decoding of the legacy uuid format and spring-data-mongo decodes java UUID's as legacy 0x3 uuid format, cause they use the java UUID in all of their examples as id, so probably all java spring-data-mongo user are effected (just like me
