| Description |

With merging COMPASS-857 each test is 'almost' independent of each other. What's remaining is to not rely on the launch test to run before running any of the other tests, which includes skipping the feature tour and selecting the network optin. A helper function that does this is already included in /test/functional/support/helpers.js. The goals of this ticket is to use the skipTourAndNetworkOptin in every functional test except for launch.test.js |

Splitting functional tests into external plugins makes this ticket redundant. |

Attempted to resolve this ticket in this branch: https://github.com/10gen/compass/tree/COMPASS-993-skipTourAndNetworkOptin Causes the launch tests to fail as the skipTourAndNetworkOptin function is called before the tests are actually run. |
