I am not able to connect to the local instance of mongo db on my developer machine. I am guessing its because of the latest windows update which happened yesterday night as everything seemed to be working before that. The latest windows update was: KB4462919

As this doesn't seem to be a bug in the .NET driver, closing this out. Please let us know if you have evidence otherwise. |

That's odd. I never had this problem in the first place, and certainly didn't have to roll back any Windows Updates. |

Windows Update KB4462919 was automatically installed on my machine a few days ago also. I have not been having any trouble connecting to "mongodb://localhost" using the C# driver since then, and just confirmed before writing this that it is still working. Are you able to connect using the MongoDB shell? Is it possible that your machine was rebooted as part of the Windows Update and that the mongod process needs to be restarted? |
