 Description

.NET Framework 4.5.2 does not appear to be used by most of our users. We should consider upgrading to a newer version.

The .NET/C# Driver is compatible with .NET 5 and 6. It will use the same target framework (TFM) as .NET Core 3.1. Note that the only time that a library has to bump its minimum TFM is when it requires features only offered on newer TFMs. So far we haven't required any .NET 5 or 6 specific APIs. When we do, we will add a net5.0 or net6.0 specific target.

Are there any plans to port the c# driver to .NET 5 ?
