Just print an error/warning but don't fail. All of the other drivers simply add to the dict/map/hash[map] and the last value wins. While this may not be the best way it is the standard. Adding a strict flag might make sense to fail on dups, or on other validations. |

The driver now sets AllowDuplicateNames to true when deserializing a BsonDocument returned from the server. |
