According to docs we have write concern "-1" for testing purposes. C# driver reports "W value must be greater than or equal to zero." when you specify it. |

We will not be supporting w = -1. Users wanting this functionality should catch all exceptions and throw them away. |

Alex, I think the documentation needs to be changed. Only the Java driver supports w = -1 now, and it's been deprecated in 2.12 and removed in 3.0. See |
