Currently DBClientConnection and DBClientReplicaSet allow read/write timeout to be set but not connect timeout. According to DBClientConnection constructor comment, connect timeout is fixed at 5 seconds. |

Hello. I understand the importance of the request to you, but the legacy C++ driver is currently only getting critical bug/security fixes, not new features. We encourage users to migrate to the new 'mongocxx' driver for much greater stability, configurability and support for new MongoDB server features. See the C++ driver docs site for details on mongocxx. |

Please implement. Our application crashes due to this, and it would be great if we can change this both for testing and stability. |
