 Description

If the driver has been configured with SSL enabled, there is no way to request that a connection not use SSL. This prevents the driver from being used to communicate with a mixed SSL/non-SSL environment.

It should be possible to disable SSL on a per-connection basis, presumably with connection URL parameter.

while this would be a nice feature the arch. of the legacy driver does not easily admit this behavior.

please feel free to comment in this issue if this is especially important to you.
