 Description

This page is vague on which settings are for point in time recovery and which are full backup copies.

Please see this ticket I sent to get some clarification.
https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/MMSSUPPORT-14490

Some examples would be great.
Example on what data is available for point in time.
Good use of a monthly/ weekly snapshots.

Ms. Hall,

Point-in-time and complete snapshots are a function of restores, not backups. The backup process is continuous, once enabled. What the user chooses to restore from a backup can be any snapshot already completed (complete), all data up to a specific date and time (determined by either point in time or oplog timestamp).

The Restore Deployment of the documentation should cover the content you seek.

If I can help in another way, please let me know.

Thank you for your feedback,
