 Description   

A customer requested a list of roles needed to use Compass. Thomas indicated this would be a good idea and provided the following table.

The following table lists Compass features and the required roles to access them.

Feature Role
Server Stats clusterMonitor
Database: create readWrite
Database: drop dbAdmin
Collection: create readWrite
Collection: drop readWrite
Schema Sampling read
Documents: read/view read
Documents: clone, insert, update, delete readWrite
Indexes: view read
Indexes: create, drop readWrite
