On this page, you discuss connecting via Drivers. The downloads that you offer are actually more closely related to software libraries or SDKs than they are to drivers. I say this as an employee of CData Software (www.cdata.com) that produces standards-based drivers (www.cdata.com/drivers/mongodb), as understood by the data and software industries. We are not the only company to produce such products and refer to them as drivers: It would benefit to discuss 3rd party drivers, presenting all of the available options for connecting to MongoDB data AND refer to your products as libraries/SDKs. Hi Jerod – At this time, "MongoDB Drivers" is the nomenclature that we use. This page is to provide more information to our users developing with the MongoDB drivers rather than a broader discussion of all drivers, so will close for as Works as Designed. |
