 Description

On this page, you discuss connecting via Drivers. The downloads that you offer are actually more closely related to software libraries or SDKs than they are to drivers.

I say this as an employee of CData Software (www.cdata.com) that produces standards-based drivers (www.cdata.com/drivers/mongodb), as understood by the data and software industries. We are not the only company to produce such products and refer to them as drivers:
https://www.progress.com
http://www.simba.com

It would benefit to discuss 3rd party drivers, presenting all of the available options for connecting to MongoDB data AND refer to your products as libraries/SDKs.

Thanks!

Hi Jerod –
thank you for taking the time to file this ticket.

At this time, "MongoDB Drivers" is the nomenclature that we use. This page is to provide more information to our users developing with the MongoDB drivers rather than a broader discussion of all drivers, so will close for as Works as Designed.
