For MongoDB 3.6, the $dateToString will get the extra %a, %b, and %e operators. They act the same as "man strftime" (except that they ignore the local and use ENglish): %a The abbreviated name of the day of the week. |

As the SERVER ticket is still in backlog, will open docs ticket when server work is done. |

Am going to close this as the SERVER-29627 ticket seems to be in backlog. When that ticket is resolved, as long as it has Docs Changes "Needed", we have a script that will generate a corresponding DOCS ticket and link. |
