 Description

The Hadoop Connector Tutorial https://docs.mongodb.com/ecosystem/tutorial/getting-started-with-hadoop/#mongodb mentions that the Hadoop Connector uses the splitVector action and therefore needs the privileges for this.
However this does not seem to be necessary any more: https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/HADOOP-283
This change also should make it possible to use Hadoop together with Atlas. Therefore adding an Hadoop example to the Atlas docs would be nice as well.

Thanks for filing a DOCS ticket. The MongoDB Connector for Hadoop is no longer supported. If you would like to access MongoDB databases using the Apache Spark libraries, use the MongoDB Connector for Spark.

shannon.bradshaw et al. We're not putting any resources toward maintenance of the Hadoop Connector, The Spark Connector is the now our fully supported solution and we should now aggressively supplant all Hadoop tutorials with fresh Spark Content. Shannon, I'll reach out to you to determine our best plan of action in regard to sunsetting the Hadoop Connector

I think it would be best to create a separate ticket for adding a Hadoop example to the Atlas docs, if that is something we wish to accomplish.
