I've recently run into trouble running MongoDB on my MacBook running the latest version of MacOS. I later learned that this was due to the OS file system 'upgrade'. I got around this issue by using the MongoDB Docker container. Being a user with only introductory MongoDB and Docker experience. It would have been really helpful to see some documentation around running MongoDB within a virtualised container. It also would have been very helpful to have running Docker within a virtualised container presented as a solution to the breaking changes MacOS High Sierra file system. If this request is approved, I'm happy to put together an initial draft of this documentation piece? |
