I was sitting with a customer today and was confused with the table showing Upper Bounds for oplog size. I was momentarily confused that we had some sort of hard limit on the oplog of 50GB, but obviously that's just the limit for the default oplog size. It would be good to add a note under this table saying: "Note: the oplog can be resized with no hard maximum limit, providing sufficient disk space is available" |
