| Description |
|
---------------------------- Original DescriptionCurrently Cloud Manager/Ops Manager generate SCRAM SHA credentials using the default values for scramIterationCount and scramSHA256IterationCount. Even when users manually configure their DB processes to use different values of these settings, we generate the credentials on our application server with the default values – when creating and editing users through our application. (Importing users created on the mongods could use different iteration count values.) We should add a note about this behavior to our user management docs: ---------------------------- DescriptionScope of changes (files that need work and how much)Impact to other docs outside of this productMVP (work and date?)Resources (e.g. Scope Docs, Invision) |
