Original Description

If you go to a page like this: https://docs.mongodb.com/ruby-driver/master/installation/

And then click in the search box and enter a query, the URL becomes:

https://docs.mongodb.com/ruby-driver/master/installation/?searchProperty=current&query=compat

However, instead of navigating from https://docs.mongodb.com/ruby-driver/master/installation/ to https://docs.mongodb.com/ruby-driver/master/installation/?searchProperty=current&query=compat the new URL replaces the old URL. If this test is performed in a new tab the back button is grayed out and not functional, making it impossible to come out of search results back to where I was.
