| Description |
DescriptionWhen following the documentation, The following indicates that `Day of week (Monday 1 - Sunday 7). Can be any expression that evaluates to a number.` The following indicates that `Returns the day of the week for a date as a number between 1 (Sunday) and 7 (Saturday).` Having the functionality be more consistent would greatly improve many user's ease of use. Scope of changesAs written, this ticket is more of a server request than a docs request, but we can probably help on the docs end. The confusion stems from the fact that the $dayOfWeek operator is returns the non-ISO Sunday-Saturday day of week, in contrast to $isoDayOfWeek, which uses a Monday-Sunday week. The $dateFromParts operator can break a date into the isoYear, isoWeekYear, and isoDayOfWeek (Mon-Sun). Action item: call out the difference between $dayOfWeek vs. $isoDayOfWeek on the $dayOfWeek docs. |
