To confirm, you're referencing the URL https://repo.mongodb.com/yum/redhat/$releasever/mongodb-enterprise/4.2/$basearch/ From our yum repository configuration step? The $releasever and $basearch are Yum variables and allow the specified repo code to automatically parse to the appropriate path for the active RHEL OS. So for host machine running RHEL 8 server with x86-64 arch, the URL should automatically parse out as required when used via yum. That said, if you were looking to pull down the .rpm on its own, that line would not work. That same step includes a paragraph pointing to the MongoDB Repository, and may be of some help. I hope that helps - as far as your request, the current repository string with YUM variables is by design. |
