DescriptionDownstream Change Summary This ticket adds a server parameter (enabled by default) that enables support for collection and index creation inside transactions: shouldMultiDocTxnCreateCollectionAndIndexes. Description of Linked TicketThis server parameter can gate the feature similarly to FCV. We should be mindful of special cases, e.g., implicit collection creation, which have their own logic to prevent them from being run inside transactions.
