| Description |
DescriptionToday I was trying to point a customer to how to provision hosts for automation, and noticed that server pools were still mentioned in this section: https://docs.opsmanager.mongodb.com/current/tutorial/nav/add-servers/ Server pools are deprecated in 4.2 and are no longer visible in the dashboard at all, unless you were using the feature in 4.0 and then upgraded. New users will be confused by this, so the pages should be removed entirely, or a big warning posted on top. I would just remove it since I do not believe it is possible even for existing users to continue provisioning new servers for the pools. Every page that exists now does state that this is deprecated. It does exist, though, so removing now would be premature, I believe. |

Just a note: this is not a duplicate. Yes the feature is removed in 4.4 and docs should certainly go with it, but it is also not accessible for the vast majority of users in 4.2 who may be confused by having this feature in the docs without any warning at least of whether they can use it. In a practical sense, the feature doenst exist for those users in 4.2 either, so the docs would have to reflect that in my opinion. |

This will be part of the OM 4.4 docs. |
